Workflow Overview
Topographic mapping begins with structured aerial data capture aligned to the required coordinate system and control framework. Imagery is processed using photogrammetry workflows to generate elevation surfaces and terrain models suitable for contour extraction and design support.
Surface modeling is reviewed and aligned to project coordinate systems before contours and mapping layers are generated.
Contours, elevation grids, and terrain datasets are delivered in engineering-compatible formats to integrate directly into Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and GIS platforms.
Deliverables
• Georeferenced orthomosaic (GeoTIFF / PDF)
• Digital Terrain Model (DTM) where applicable
• Digital Surface Model (DSM) where required
• Contour lines at defined intervals
• Elevation grids and breaklines (if applicable)
• CAD-ready contour exports (DXF / DWG)
• GIS-ready layers (SHP / GeoPackage)
• PDF map layout for review and planning
Applications
• Preliminary site design and layout planning
• Drainage and grading strategy development
• Access road and pad planning
• Development feasibility review
• Pre-construction terrain documentation
Accuracy & Considerations
Topographic outputs are generated using RTK-enabled photogrammetry workflows and are suitable for planning, earthwork coordination, and design support. These services do not replace a legal boundary survey or work requiring a licensed land surveyor.
